Damian Barry, Director

Damian Barry, the Director of Deaf Answers,comes with a long pedigree of D/deaf experience and management.

He was Chief Executive of Hearing Concern (a national charity for people with hearing loss), until he decidedto change his career trajectory and start Deaf Answers.

Damian has worked with the British Deaf Association, as Director for London and South East, the British Red Cross as Fundraising Manager, Friends for Young Deaf People as the Director of Operations and Development, as Disability Services Advisor with the George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust, and the Deaf Association of New Zealand as FYD Director.

Damian’s is to train and mentor Deaf People so that they can become masters of their own destiny”.

Damian is also an Associate with Deaf Works.
